She is a self-motivated, forward-thinking finance leader with a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced and operationally complex businesses. A trusted business partner, Suzanne brings strong financial insight combined with the confidence and credibility to challenge existing processes, systems, and ways of working. She excels at driving continuous improvement, strengthening financial controls, and implementing practical solutions that enhance performance and support strategic decision-making. With excellent communication skills and a highly collaborative approach, Suzanne works closely with senior leadership and operational teams to improve profitability, optimise working capital, and support sustainable business growth. She is recognised for her resourcefulness, commercial acumen, and ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insight. |
James Porter, Ecology DirectorJames is an experienced ecologist, with over 13 years in the industry. Having previously worked in both principal ecologist and senior management roles, James brings a combination of technical expertise and commercial acumen that allow him to work with clients/partners on how our biodiversity services can best feed into their overall project/ambitions. Meticulous yet pragmatic, James is a firm believer in findings ways to deliver best practice biodiversity solutions that work in a real world setting, fit in with our clients’ processes/obligations, and are profitable as well as environmentally beneficial. |

James Knott, Disabled Facilities Grants Service Delivery ManagerJames is a driven project delivery manager, having spent 17 years in various property sectors including estate agency, lettings, property management and for the past 10 years within the disabled facilities grants service. With this experience James has developed a competitive yet personable approach to project delivery, with a keen eye for data and analysis to continuously seek out service improvements. As the disabled facilities grants service delivery manager, James has overseen the transition from service set-up to delivery within 12 months. |
Hannah Fox, Talent Acquisition LeadHannah has over 20 years as a highly skilled recruiter. Hannah’s experience covers a wide range of range of industries and sectors at all levels, from hiring graduates to senior/board level positions, nationwide and globally. Hannah’s approach has always been to ensure candidates and clients have the best experience throughout their journey, helping companies with their recruitment needs, long-term goals and hiring objectives. Focusing on talent acquisition through direct approach and research activities, talent pooling, attraction strategies whilst achieving reduced cost and time to hire. Hannah prides herself on being a people person, open and honest in all that she does, in order to successfully develop and maintain long-term relationships with both stakeholders and candidates. |
Lauren Hunt, Communications & Marketing DirectorWith over 10 years of experience in marketing and communications, Lauren joined as Communications & Marketing Director in 2024. Lauren started as an apprentice at 18 and has worked her way up to a range of leadership roles in communications, place marketing and economic development. Lauren leads the communications, events and tourism teams, creating and implementing a forward-thinking strategy that drives the organisation’s messaging and community engagement. She focuses on delivering clear, impactful communications while also encouraging creativity and innovation in local government. Lauren holds a Level 6 Diploma with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and was honoured to be named the national Communications Professional of the Year at the Comms 2.0 Awards in 2023. She brings a blend of organisation, creativity, and leadership to everything she does, always striving to make an impact and drive positive change. Lauren is passionate about development and training opportunities and firmly believes in investing in talent and growth. |
Jim Faulkner, Leisure Service DirectorJim brings decades of experience in the leisure, hospitality, and health & wellbeing sector, having worked with leading operators since the late 1990s. As Leisure Director, he is driving the development of inclusive and community-focused leisure services across Lichfield District. His key projects include major investment at Burntwood Leisure Centre, exciting enhancements at Beacon Park, and the delivery of the brand-new Lichfield Leisure Centre by late 2025. Jim is passionate about improving wellbeing through leisure and is focused on combining commercial insight with accessible, high-quality experiences for all residents. |
Helen McKenzie, Project & Property DirectorHelen brings a wealth of experience to her role as Project & Property Director at LWM Traded Services Ltd. Formerly the Operations Manager at Solihull MBC, Helen successfully led similar service areas for a number of years, demonstrating strong leadership and operational expertise. Helen heads up the Project Management team, overseeing a skilled group that includes a RICS-qualified Senior Surveyor and a Project Manager. Together, they manage a wider team of seven staff, comprising surveyors and essential support personnel. Under Helen’s direction, the team delivers high-quality project and property services, ensuring professional standards and strategic delivery across the board. |
