We are proud to work in partnership with Lichfield District Council to manage the disabled facilities grants (DFG) programme:

DFGs are government funded andsupport disabled people to live safely and independently through the introduction of adaptations. Grants are available to disabled people of all ages in all housing tenures, subject to eligibility.

What can a disabled facilities grant be used for?

A grant can be used towards home adaptations such as the installation of:

• Level access showers and wet rooms
• Ceiling track hoists
• Wash and dry toilets
• Ramps
• Wider doors
• Bespoke home extensions to existing dwellings
• Garden access
